The hotel has comfortable beds, good shower and it is in a quiet zone. You are not that far from the subway nor the train station, although it require some walking. The train will drop you at Madrid's heart in 15 min for about €2. There is also a shopping center relatively close. The staff is friendly, everything was clean and for the price it was a good deal. Also they take pets.

I only speak English and the staff was very accommodating. The staff was very helpful storing medication in their refrigerator/freezer during our stay. Over all very easy, professional, and friendly. The facility has a decent sized room, and a lift (elevator), which not all places in older metro cities have.

Location great if you want an affordable alternative to expensive inner-city accomodation, we didnt try to take public transport as it seemed time consuming but taxi from the hotel to the city centre was around 15-17 euros, definitely worth it however taxis back can be a little more expensive, however that was to be expected as we travelled back late at night on a saturday so would be the same in any city.
